Obituary of Shirley HUTCHINGS

Shirley Ernestine Hutchings passed away February 21, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 87. She was born to Ernest and Stella (Simonds) Rogers on December 18, 1922 in Medford, WI.Shirley married her best friend Roy on June 7, 1941. She worked for the Woodland School District as a teacher in Gages Lake, IL for 25 years. After retirement she joined the teacher's organization. Shirley made Lake Havasu her home 7 years ago from Wildwood, IL. She was good at embroidery and crocheting. Shirley leaves behind her beloved family, daughter, Carol Botimer and her husband Don; daughter-in-law Pamela Hutchings, all of Lake Havasu; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her dog, Tiny whom she loved so very much. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roy; son Thomas and brother Clayton Rogers.No services will be held.
