Obituary of Ida MARINELLI

Ida Marie Marinelli passed away February 26, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 83. She was born to Alfonso and Anna (Pellegrini) Ruggeri on October 28, 1926 in Detroit, MI.Ida treasured 60 years of marriage with her best friend, Dante E. Marinelli. They had an everlasting love and together they made Lake Havasu their home five years ago from Whittier, CA. Since moving here in 2005, she made many friends and cherished every one of them. Ida loved her many years of travel and loved her trips to Laughlin with friends. Her laugh was infectious and she loved life to its fullest. Grandchildren were her most joy; she loved them very much and they loved their "Nonna" in return.Ida leaves behind her beloved husband, Dante Marinelli of Lake Havasu; two sons Dante and Derrick Marinelli; brother Reno Ruggeri; sister Lola Wickersham and six grandchildren Dante, Danae, Darren, Derrick, Dustin and Drew.She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers Frank and Vince Ruggeri.A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. Father Chauncey Winkler will offer words of comfort and inspiration. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
