Obituary of Ida THORESON

Ida T. Thoreson passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ; at the age of 93. She was born on September 6, 1916 in Rock Falls, WI; to Theodore and Maren (Barscove) Thoreson.Ida's professional life was that of a dedicated school teacher, beginning in one room country schools in Midwestern Wisconsin, and continuing to retirement after 37 years. Her legacy is the love of hundreds of students and children whose lives she touched. Ida moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in 1973, where she will be remembered as a care-giver for infants and toddlers and as a volunteer at the local hospital.Ida was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers, and a nephew. She is survived by 3 nephews, 3 nieces and other cherished family and friends.At Ida's request, there will be no services or remembrances. She will be inurned at the Mount Olive Columbarium Garden in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
