Mary and Van were my neighbors in Lake Havasu. Although we moved back to Boston 15 years ago, Mary and I still kept in touch. She came out here 4 years ago on a trip with a group and we met up with her in Boston and what a pleasure it was to see her. I am just finding out now that she has passed and am so very sad. She was a wonderful lady and we will miss her deeply. Can't forget Van either, when my son was small I remember Van showing him all of his planes in the garage and treating both of my kids like they were his own grandchildren. Best neighbors ever!
We will miss you Mary!

I have many warm memories of times spent with Mary and my Uncle Van at my mom and dad's farm. Mary was such a friendly, warm, and kind person. My condolences to you for your loss.

I have so many good memories of Mary. Van and Mary stayed with me for six weeks a few years ago. They were my nurse's and cooks while I was in a wheel chair. Mary and I have continued to visit for long times (sometimes) even though we were a long distance apart mile wise. I'll miss that. She was a special lady. Sharon McKenzie (Van's youngest sister.)
