Marilyn Lucille Erlandson, 66, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 20l0 at her residence in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on October 22, 1943 in Inglewood, CA. to Jessie E. and Marian L. (Grimm) Williams.Marilyn and her family moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in 1971 from the Los Angeles area. While living here, Marilyn worked for the Today's News and the Today's News Herald, following their merger, as a typesetter for 12 years. In her spare time, Marilyn enjoyed collecting bells, building up quite a collection.Marilyn is survived by her husband of 48 years, Erland Erlandson; sons, Karl and his wife Mary of Phoenix, AZ; and Eric of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brothers, Roy Goldbaum of Cassville, MO; and Danny Williams of Moreno Valley, CA; brother-in-law, Jim Nelson or Ridgecrest, CA; grandchildren, Aron, Brittany, Christine, Jennifer and Eric Michael; great grandchildren, Matthew, Ally, Jessie and nieces, Christina and Teresa and nephew, James. She was preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Marian; brother, Bob Goldbaum and sister, Mary Sue Nelson.Marilyn's family would like to extend a special thanks to Pam, Jessica, Phyllis, Jo Ann, Sarah, Carmen, Dr. O'Neill and all the fine people at New Hope Hospice.A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Thursday, April l, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Words of comfort and inspiration will be expressed by Pastor Dale Ray.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marilyn's name to New Hope Hospice, 500 N. Lake Havasu Ave., Ste.
