Dan was one of our most beloved residents at Havasu RV Resort. We first met Dan May, 2004 when we became neighbors in the RV park. We admired how tough he was as his daily routine consisted of an early morning workout in the exercise room, a game of pool each afternoon in the clubhouse, ending with numerous laps swam in the outdoor pool during those hot summer months. We could set our watch by his daily schedule. One day while Dan was reading his mail poolside, a strong wind came out of nowhere and sent one of his checks airborne. He came running in asking for help to locate this check that we thought was long gone in the wind. We helped him search the desert north of the park and as thou he had a guardian angel guiding us along, we found that check hung up on a bush! Dan took us to lunch to thank us for his help and we learned more about his interesting life. We all would laugh about finding that check! We know in our hearts that Dan has finally met that guardian angel that helped us that day. May he rest in peace and may the lord help the family through the tough days ahead.
