Marlene A. Watland passed away on March 31, 2010 at her home in Lake Havasu City at the age of 72. Marlene was born on October 16, 1937 in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada to Athanese and Agnes (Blondeau) LaCoste.Marlene and her husband Glen moved to Lake Havasu City ten years ago from Everett, WA. She worked at Compass Bank for the past six years where she made many friends and touched so many lives.Marlene lived her life to the fullest with great faith, joy, laughter and most of all, love. She touched many lives with her gentleness and understanding and wants to be remembered by the way she lived, not in the sadness of her passing. She will be greatly missed by the love of her life, her family and her many friends.Marlene is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Glen; son Mark Watland and his wife Sue of Arlington, WA; daughter Marie Gardner of Mt. Vernon, WA; step-daughters Pattie Larson and her husband Jim of Fargo, N.D. and Debbie Mohr and her husband Eric of Alexandria, MN; brother Larry LaCoste of Wabamun, Alberta, Canada; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.No services are to be held, however condolences may be sent to www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
