Obituary of John THOMAS

Thomas, John R. (Jack) died April 6th, 2010 after struggling with esophageal cancer, in Lake Havasu City AZ, where he lived for the past 10 years. He was formally from Excelsior MN., born in Minneapolis, MN, May 27, 1933 to Lawrence E. and Marna Jane Thomas. Jack was a retired aerospace engineer from Honeywell. He spent the last few decades going to music festivals, throwing the ball for his Boston Terriers and rebuilding computers and laptops donating many of them to people in need.Jack was preceded in death by his daughter Susan. He is survived by his wife Nan; his daughters, Jami (Chris) George and Connie (Greg) Murray; son Gary Thomas; sister Julie (Bob) Campbell; his very much adored cousins, Jerry (Muriel) Thomas and George (Diane) Thomas, niece and nephews, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Jack's ashes will be buried with his daughter Susan at the St. Johns cemetery in Excelsior this summer.
