Obituary of Ina BAKER

Ina Ruth Baker passed away on Thursday April 15, 2010 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 98. Ina was born on March 6, 1912 in Buffalo, Indiana to Oscar and Avada (Sheets) McCloud.Ina met and married Dale Baker in Indiana on September 18, 1929 and were together for 64 ½ years until Dale's passing. While living in Indiana, Ina was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Peru, Indiana. They then moved to El Segundo, California where Ina went to work for International Rectofier, a position she held for 11 years. While in El Segundo, she became a member of the Rebekah Lodge.Ina and Dale moved to Lake Havasu City 39 years ago from El Segundo and they became members of the Moose Lodge. One of her favorite pastimes was crocheting, something she enjoyed all her life.Ina is survived by her sons Dwight Baker of Stanwood, WA; Jerry Baker of Prescott, AZ; daughter Marilyn Lovelace of Dunnellon, FL; brothers Harold McCloud of Lafayette, IN and Keith McCloud of Monticello, IN; sisters Margaret and Betty both of Lafayette, IN; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughters Ann Elkins and Goldia Younglove, son Bryan Baker as well as her beloved husband, Dale.Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday April 22, 2010 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am with graveside services to be held at 11:00 am at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ina's name to Hospice of Havasu P O Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405.Thoughts and condolences can be sent to the Baker family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
