Obituary of Donna MAURER

Donna Lorraine Maurer passed away on April 17, 2010 at her residence in Lake Havasu City, AZ; at the age of 68. She was born on April 18, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA; to David and Rita (Kunzleman) Lowther.Donna and her husband Richard moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 14 years ago from Chino Hills, CA; where she worked at St. George,s School in Ontario, CA. Prior to St. George's, she worked at St. Mary's School in Whittier, CA; as a secretary.Donna is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard; son, Stephen Maurer and his wife Shellie of Chino, CA; daughters, Susan Maurer and Sharon Maurer both of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brothers, David Lowther and his wife Janice and Thomas Lowther, all of Lake Havasu City, AZ; 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah, Randall and Allison Maurer. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Rita and her sister, Judith Drake.Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Friday, April 23, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m with a rosary said at 12 noon. Funeral Mass will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
