DOUGLAS CARDER SPRENGDouglas Carder Spreng passed away on April 19, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona at the age of 78. He was born on February 7, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois.Douglas worked as an electronic engineer for P.G. & E. in Needles, California before retiring from Oceanside, California to Lake Havasu City 38 years ago. He was honest, kind and loving. He was always available to help his friends with Ham radios. He was very patriotic. He is in the Hall of Fame for a device designed for radio communications when he was 26 years old. He was a genius.Douglas is survived by his favorite lady and beloved fiancé Bernita Rossum and his many friends.A Memorial Service will be held at the Community Presbyterian Church on Tuesday April 27, 2010 at 10:00 am.
