Vincent Roger WillettOctober 6, 1925 - May 15,2010Vincent Roger Willett passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2010 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 84. Vincent was born on Oct 6, 1925 in Washington, D.C. to Anthony Clay and Mae L. Willett. Vincent and his wife, Katherine, moved to Lake Havasu in1975 from White Plains, MD.He was inducted into the US Army December 14, 1943 and served with the 186th Engr Combat Bn in the Pacific until the end of World War II. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, grandchildren, and walking thru the neighborhood entertaining everyone with his stories.He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Katherine; sons, Vincent Willett Jr (Robin), Richard A Willett (Nancy); daughters, Linda Willett, Robin Samitz (Mike), and Kim Finch (Don); grandchildren Tammy, Kerry, Tiffany, Roger, Travis and Genie; Great grandchildren Brittany, Brianna, Tyler, Amaya, Nicholas, and Kate and brothers Thomas G. Willett and James H Willett.Memorial services were held at Our Lady of the Lake on May 17, 2010.Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
