Obituary of Fern Lucille Leickel

FERN LUCILLE LEICKEL Fern Lucille Leickel passed away February 6, 2014 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 92. She was born February 1, 1922 in Median, Kansas to Clyde and Ida Mae (Shout) Johnson. Fern has made Arizona her home for the last 34 years. She loved her dear town of Lake Havasu and all of her many friends including best friend Gladys Derochie. Fern is survived by her loving daughter Penny Paegel of Houston, TX; step-son William Russel Jones of Thousand Oaks, CA; sister Sharon Houtz of Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, a sister and brother. A Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in the Chapel on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:30 PM with a Funeral Service following at 3:00 PM with Chaplain Sandra Johnson offering words of comfort and Barbara Huntting singing and playing the piano.
