Mary Ellen Huskisson went to be with her Lord and Savior and joined her beloved Herman of 71 years on May 31, 2010. She was born to Thomas and Pearl (McCuen) Meads on April 22, 1920 in Alton, IL.Mary married her best friend Herman Huskisson on May 8, 1937 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 31 years ago. She was a member of Lakeview Community Church in Lake Havasu. Mary loved being with her family and was a wonderful cook and seamstress. She had many friends wherever she went and a big smile for everyone. Mary always said "God bless you" to everyone.She leaves behind her beloved family, sons, Jerry (Mary Lou) Huskisson of Kingman, AZ and Rick (Sharon) Huskisson of Dallas, TX; brother, Louis Meade; sisters, Clara Arrowsmith and Norma Meade; three grandchildren, Eric (Tammy), Keith (Pamelia) and Michael (Lois) and seven great grandchildren, Rachael (Byron), Justin (Amanda), Derek (Anna), Jonathan (Liz), Courtney, Kaitlynn and Brody.Graveside services will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Saturday, June 5, 2010, 9:00 AM. Pastor Dale Ray will offer words of comfort and inspiration.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
