Obituary of Donald ROBINSON

Donald Ray Robinson passed away on June 28, 2010 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 72. Don, as he was known to his family and many friends, was born on January 20, 1938 in Wichita, KS to Raymond and Treva (Gregory) Robinson.Following high school, Don attended Wichita State University. He retired as an electrical engineer with Gates Lear Jet, having worked there for 36 years. Don and his wife Lois moved to Lake Havasu City from Wichita ten years ago. They were members of St. Michaels United Methodist Church and together they enjoyed traveling and boating. Don was also a member of the Desert Hawks RC Flying Club.Don is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lois; daughter Catherine Deann Robinson of Wichita, KS; sisters Rilla Belle McCutcheon of Udall, KS and Vicki Lynn Forsberg of Lake Havasu City. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Treva Robinson; son David Ray Robinson and brother Terry Scounce Robinson.A memorial service will held on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's United Methodist Church. Rev. Thomas Mattick will offer words of comfort and inspiration.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Don's name to the St. Michaels United Methodist Women, 2895 S.
