Obituary of Frances Parker
Please share a memory of Frances to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lucille Parker, 89, of Lake Havasu City, left to join her Lord on Friday, February 7, 2014. She reunited with her beloved husband of 54 years, Robert M. Parker. He preceded her in death in 2001.
Lucille, who was the "Rock" of her family, spread her love to everyone who became a part of her life. She is survived by her two sons, Robert L Parker, Lt. US Army, retired and Dr Ronald D. Parker, both of Lake Havasu City. The welfare and happiness of her two sons was always uppermost in her heart and mind. They will both miss their mother's love!
She is also survived by the wives of Bob (Margaret) and Ron (Yuko) as well as seven grandchildren, sixteen great- grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. All, affectionately knew her as "Nanny".
Nanny was born in Chattanooga, Tennesse in 1924. The family moved to Costa Mesa, California in 1958 where she worked at the Jabsco Pump Company until her retirement and subsequent relocation to Lake Havasu City in 1986.
Her time in "Havasu", caring for her husband Bob, doing for her extended family, and enjoying her lake view from her home atop the hill gave her the peace and happiness, we should all enjoy in this beautiful city.
Viewing will be Friday, February 14, 2014 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens @ 10:30am.
