Obituary of Christopher BERNABE

Christopher Bernabe passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 84. He was born on November 25, 1925 in Casablanca, Morocco.Chris and his wife Eliane moved to Lake Havasu City from Rochester, NY in 1973. They went into business in residential lighting opening up Bernabe lighting and Elaine, as she was known to everyone, opened up Votre Beauty Salon.In his younger years, Chris enjoyed dancing becoming an accomplished competitive dancer. He also enjoyed gambling and golfing. Aside from his business, Chris was also a past member of the Lions Club and the Chamber of Commerce.Chris is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Elaine; son Christian Bernabe and his wife Mary of Phoenix, AZ; brother Vincente Bernabe of Spain; grandson Kyle Bernabe and his wife Chelsea and granddaughter Nicole Bernabe, all of Tempe, AZ and one great grandchild on the way.Memorial services will be held on Saturday July 31, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Rev. Richard Rounds will offer words of comfort and inspiration. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Chris' name to Alzheimer's Research Association, P.O.
