Mrs. Bernice Pappin passed away peacefully in her granddaughter's arms on the afternoon of July 27, 2010. She was born in Michigan on August 21, 1914. She leaves behind her daughter Loretta White; granddaughter Jaye Bellomy; great granddaughter Shea Ehresman; great grandson Trey Bellomy and two great-great granddaughters Neveah and Sierra Ehresman.Now in the loving embraces of those who preceded her to her new home in Heaven is her parents, sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, husband Mel of 30 years and grandson Jimmy White.Bernice and her family give their heartfelt thank you for everyone's prayers, to all of her friends and nurses at Prestige Assisted Living and all of the women at New Hope Hospe. The ladies at Prestige and Hospice are truly angels amongst us. Good Bye Love.Interment will take place at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma, CA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Bernice's name to New Hope Hospice, 500 N. Lake Havasu Ave., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
