Nancy Ellen Staubs passed away August 9, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 74. She was born to James and Dorothy Wheeler on July 2, 1936 in Chicago, IL.Nancy married her beloved, George Staubs on October 15, 1972 and together they made Lake Havasu their home six years ago from Malibu, CA. Nancy was very active with the Red Hat Ladies, the Drury Lane Theater Player and Senior Follies at Grace Arts Live. Nancy also loved to write poetry. She won several awards and hearts with her poemsNancy leaves behind her sons Allan Atwell and Tim Staubs; daughters Lynda Cashman and Tammy Shuman and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; parents, James and Dorothy Wheeler and one sister Karen Wheeler.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, 1:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
