Obituary of Freda ROGERS

Freda Rose Rogers passed away August 11, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 83. She was born to William and Edyth (Hillyard) Clouse on October 7, 1926 in South Dakota.Freda married her beloved Earl Rogers on May 9, 1948. Together they raised two wonderful children, James and Erlinda. Freda graduated from Miller, South Dakota High School. She belonged to the Newberg, OR Seventh-day Adventist Church and enjoyed being a part of the Women's Christian Club of Newberg, OR. Freda was also well known for her love of flowers, especially Fuchsias.Freda was dedicated to all children. She volunteered as a cook at McMinville Elementary for many years. Everyone enjoyed her cooking at potlucks and she loved taking her friends around the town.Freda leaves behind her beloved family, son, James Jay Rogers of Chatsworth, CA; daughter, Erlinda Jane Hoskins of Lake Havasu City; brother Dale Clouse of Walla Walla, WA and one grandchild.Donations may be made in Freda's name to the Newberg SDA Pathfinders.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
