Clifford C. Douglas - Lake Havasu City, AZClifford C. Douglas passed away at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, AZ on August 22, 2010 at the age of 78. He was born on November 6, 1931 in Spring Valley, MN to Merton and Deanna (Lingbeck) Douglas.Clifford graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1950. He served as an A & E mechanic in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1954 where he was stationed in Spokane, WA. He married Virginia Helgeson and worked as a brick layer there. They had three children Grace Ann, Cliff Allen, and Jerry Lee. He also did some farming in Racine, WA before moving to Kasson, MN where he worked for the Mc Nelius Truck and Manufacturing Company. Clifford later married Charla Jackson who had two children of her own Karen and Ronald. They had a son together David, who is retired from the U.S. Air force. He moved to Coeur d'Alene, ID and married Donna Smith, she had five children; Edward, Cynthia, Caroline, William, and Richard. After retirement they moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. Donna passed away January 1, 2004 of cancer. Later he married Nelda Bonnett.Clifford is survived by his wife Nelda; children; grandchildren, and great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Evelyn (Arlen) Anderson and Carol (James) Schimek; and two brothers, Duane (Elrose) Douglas and Paul (Harriet) Douglas.Clifford was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Donald Douglas.A memorial service will be held for him at the Kasson Methodist Church on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. by Pastor Karen Seavey.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
