Primo John Verdone was born in Bellflower, CA on August 28th, 1986. He attended part of his elementary years in Lake Arrowhead, CA. He then moved to Lake Havasu City with his family where he continued through middle school and graduated from Lake Havasu High School in 2004. Throughout Primo's teen years he participated in the Fire Explorers Program in Desert Hills. Upon graduating high school he moved to California where he obtained his EMT certification and completed the Glendale Arroyo Seco Fire Academy. Primo enlisted in the United States Navy in 2008. He had been anxiously awaiting training for deployment to Afghanistan. Outside of working hard and his dedication of service to his country, Primo enjoyed spending time with family and friends, boating, off-roading, riding his motorcycles and being active.Primo is survived by his Father, Theodore J. Verdone; Mother, Deanna Archie and her Husband Joe; Sisters, Lauren Nicole Verdone of Carlsbad, CA and Avalon Eve Verdone of Lake Havasu City; Step-brother, Tyson Archie (Marissa) of Windsor, CO; Step-sister, Amber Zowada (Brian) of Cheyenne, WY; Grandparents, John and Audrey Verdone of Grass Valley, CA, Darlene Lemmon of Lakewood, CA and Duane and Louise Dufault of Mount Shasta, CA; Uncle Andy Verdone (Shannon) of Huntington Beach, CA, Aunt Allison Miller (Robert) of Huntington Beach, CA, Aunt Cindy (Howard) of Lakewood, CA, Aunt Teri of Lakewood, CA, Aunt Sue Fortino (Paul) of Fort Montgomery, NY, Aunt Denise Dufault of Anderson, CA, Aunt Darla Richards of Lake Havasu City, Gary Kincaid, greatest friend and mentor of Lake Havasu City, and cousins.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, 10:30 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, Pastor Chad Garrison will offer words of comfort and inspiration.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Primo Verdone Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
