Jerry Dean Groves passed away September 17, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 74. He was born to John and Doralaska (Taft) Groves on June 7, 1936 in Dinuba, CA.Jerry served his country proudly under the direction of the United States Army with the 325th Airborne during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Chrysler Corporation as a mechanic for 51 years. Jerry and his wife Ramona made Lake Havasu their home 8 years ago. He was a member of the BPOE Lodge 2399 and was an avid fisherman.Jerry leaves behind his beloved wife Ramona R. Groves of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sons, Robert D. Groves of Anchorage, AK and Clay E. Rear of Garden Grove, CA; daughter Danielle R. Greer of Wasilla, AK; brother Arnold Groves of Porterville, CA and five grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; son Johnny Groves; daughter Nancy Groves and sister Martella Yearta.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
