Obituary of Eugene WICKER

Eugene Vincent Wicker passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 83. Gene, as he was known by his family and friends, was born on January 28, 1927 in Crossett, TX to J.G. and Willie May (Henry) Wicker.Following high school, Gene attended college for two years majoring in business administration. He began working for U.P.S. for a brief time, and then enlisted in the United States Navy proudly serving his country for six years.Gene and his wife Jan moved to Lake Havasu City 18 years ago from Lakewood, CA. He worked as a security guard for ProBuild for the past 7 ½ years. One of Gene's favorite pastimes was bowling.Gene is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jan Wicker; son Ken Luney and his wife Jody of Gold Hill, OR; daughters Carol Panagos and her husband Jim of Lake Havasu City and Debra Napzok and her husband Al of Arroyo Grande, CA; grandchildren Steve Panagos, Jerry Panagos, Jane Cartwright, Tyler Luney, Kenny Napzok and Katie Napzok as well as nine great grandchildren.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
