Obituary of Edward MEASE

EDWARD ROTE MEASEJanuary 7, 1913 - October 15, 2010Edward Rote Mease at the age of 97 passed away peacefully at Lake View Terrace on October 15, 2010.Edward was a graduate of University of Pittsburg, Pittsburg, PA with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering with high honors in June 1935.Edward then went on to serve our country in the U.S. Army in World War II and rose to the rank of Lt. Colonel. During this time he married his childhood sweetheart Emma Rusnack. After the war he and Emma moved to Lone Pine, CA where he managed a Soda Ash Plant. After the Soda Ash Plant closed they moved to Los Angeles, CA where he worked for 20 years for Rockwell International and Boeing Aircraft in the Aerospace program until he finally retired. They then moved to Lake Havasu, AZ in 1976 after McCulloch flew them down to look at property. Ed would always say "What more could you wish for, a big lake in the desert", where they made there final home.No memorial services will be held.He is survived by his sister-in-law Dorothy Joseph; niece Marcia Von Senden and her husband Carl; nephews Mark Joseph, Edward Mathews and Thomas Rushaek; nieces Janet Mathews and Martha Gates Del Vecchio; all his friends at Lake View Terrace and his best friend, Carl Tremaine and his wife Jackie TremaineHe is preceded in death by his wife Emma; parents Edward and Mary Mease and Sister Ruth.Donation may be given in Ed's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
