Obituary of Fern MORGAN

Fern Elizabeth Morgan passed away November 18, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 89. She was born to Harry and Elizabeth on May 15, 1921 in Derby, KS.Fern made Arizona her home 33 years ago from Wichita, KS and has lived in Lake Havasu for the past 16 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. She volunteered her services to launder the linens used in the celebration of the Mass. Fern was a loving wife, devoted mother and an example of the life of Christ. "Thank you mom for a life well lived."Fern leaves behind her beloved family, sons, John W.Jr., Mike, Bob, Joe, Tom and Greg; daughters, April, Jeanne, Patty, Mary, Carolyn and Cathy; brothers Eugene, Isaac, Alva and Merle; sisters Nellie, Lucy, Dorothy, Estelle, and June. She also leaves behind 29 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John whom she married May 21, 1942.A Rosary will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010, 7:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, November 22, 2010, 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Father Chauncey Winkler will offer words of comfort and inspiration.
