Edna Maxine Winn passed away in her home on November 19, 2010 at the age of 88. Maxine was born in 1922, the 8 of 10 children in Wichita, KS. She graduated from Wichita High in 1940, the first in her family to do this. She worked as a car hop and in a camera repair shop. She married James D. Williams in 1941 and watched as he went off to fight in WWII. He named his P47 airplane after her. After the war they settled in Bellevue, WA and had their two children, Debra and Sherill. They divorced in 1972 after 31 years of marriage.Maxine was blessed to find love a second time in life and married Warren Winn in 1996. She worked as an Avon lady for 20 years and was very close to her daughters and grandchildren. She moved to Lake Havasu, AZ in 1983 to be near her sister and the sunshine. She enjoyed playing Skipbo for money, wearing several rings on every finger, collecting coke memorabilia, smoking, writing funny poems and eating sweets.She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Winn; daughter Sherrill; granddaughter Suzy and siblings Alfred, Laverne, Harold, Loyd, Ori, Audrey and Edwin. She is survived by her daughter Debra Schwartz and her grandchildren Sarah and Kelly and great grandchildren Aubrey and Jack; sister Doris and Eva J.A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2010, 1:00 PM at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
