Florence Leone LangmaackMarch 29, 1920 - November 20, 2010Florence Leone Langmaack, 90, passed away quietly on Saturday, November 20, 2010, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.Florence leaves behind two sons Charles "Chuck" and Richard "Rich"; two daughters-in-law, Pam and Maria; five grandchildren, Buffy, Leslie. Jamie, Al, and Callie, 10 great grandchildren, Sammy, Kayleen Emma, Hunter, Max, Jadin, Brooklyn, Jorden, Bailey, and Bella; three step-grandchildren, Justin, John, and Michael; and five step-great grandchildren, Phoenix, Jackson, Caleb, Skyler, and James.Born Florence Leone Passer, she grew up on a farm in Elbow Lake, Minnesota. After marrying Alfred Harder Langmaack, the couple relocated to Southern California where they raised three sons. Florence spent 13 years with the U.S. Postal Service, working in Ontario, California. She had spent a few years in Apple Valley, California, when she relocated to Lake Havasu City to be closer to her youngest son in 2004.Florence was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, loving husband, Alfred, and her oldest son Dennis.Florence loved to read and crochet, and during her last 2 years at Lake Hills Inn she rarely missed a Bingo session. She loved spending time with her family, who celebrated her 90th birthday with her at Big John's Steak 'n Pub in Lake Havasu City, in March 2010.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at mlangmaack@ earthlink.netA graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Covina, California, on December 1, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be performed by Pastor Richard Rubin. Following the service, a reception will be held at the Cask 'n Cleaver Steakhouse in Rancho Cucamonga. California.Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City.
