Margaret Howard 1923-2010Margaret Lucille "Wherley" Howard passed away on December 12, 2010, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, surrounded by her family. Margaret was born on February 28, 1923, to George and Gladys Wherley. Margaret was raised in Galesburg, Illinois, graduated from Galesburg Senior High in 1941, and married James Howard of Mt. Sterling, Illinois in 1946.Margaret is survived by two daughters Linda (David) Seaver of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Karen (Jerry) Bowe of Parker, AZ; grandchildren, Nathan Bowe of Detroit, MI, Gretchen Bowe of Fort Worth, TX; great grandchild, Jonathan Bowe of Mansfield, TX; sister Shirley (John) Dixon, Hamel, MN; brother-in-law Clyde Howard, Monmouth, IL; and several nieces and nephews in Minnesota, Illinois, and Oklahoma.She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; sister Dorothy (Burdett) Stegall of Abingdon, IL; brother Ronald "Jack" (Maxine) Wherley of Abingdon, IL; nephews Dave Wherley of Abingdon, IL and Kurt Lienemann of Maple Grove, MN.On the morning of December 12th, our Mother broke the bond of Alzheimer's disease and flew with angels into the arms of Christ, her parents, and her loving husband. We wish her magic in her travels and will always find comfort in remembering her golden smile and her loving heart.To summarize her favorite quote "What a nice outing this has been!"
