Harvey Reisenauer died unexpectedly at home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on his 64th birthday, January 21, 2016 of natural causes. Harvey was born in Dickinson, North Dakota on January 21, 1952 to Mike and Leona (Olheiser) Reisenauer.
Harvey received his education in Dickinson, North Dakota. On August 4, 1973, he married his one and only sweetheart, Judy. They welcomed the birth of their son, Shaun on May 3, 1974.
Harvey inherited his father's passion of woodworking. He began his lifelong construction and woodworking career at age 17. In 1978, he built his family home in Dickinson. The family moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1989. Shortly before retiring in 2014, he embraced the opportunity of having time to devote to his passion in woodworking. Harvey & Judy opened a small E-Commerce shop where they sold many pieces of his works of art. His other interests included spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. He enjoyed taking long drives, western movies, listening to the oldies and country music, and being outdoors. He will be missed by his family and friends, and by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Judy (Stoltz); his son, Shaun Reisenauer (Kim); his grandchildren, Madison and Jakob; his mother, Leona (Olheiser) Reisenauer; his sisters, Elaine Moos (Johnny), Carla Radtke (Gilbert), Doreen Erickson (Jeff). He is preceded in death by his father, Mike Reisenauer; his sister, Diane Frank (LeeRoy).
A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Friday, February 5th at 1:00PM.
