Obituary of Jessica Kathleen Sasseen

Jessica Kathleen Irvin Sasseen, 19 years old, died 2/15/14 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jessica was born in Brawley, California on 3/20/1994 to Jeff Irvin and Terylee Thorpe. She was raised in Lake Havasu and attended high school at Lake Havasu High School. Jessica had just completed a Certified Nursing Aid course in Colorado Springs, where she excelled and received several certificates of achievement. She was looking forward to furthering her career in the medical field. Jessica was a beautiful, smart, lovely, young lady who will be missed by all who knew her. She was very much loved and adored by her husband Daniel Sasseen who is devastated by her loss. Known as Messy Jessie and Pooh Butt, Jessica was passionate about a lot of things, including working out and fitness-often posting pictures of herself and her "Gains" on Facebook. She very much loved her dogs Raider, "Baby Scout" and Gauge. She enjoyed everything about hair, makeup and beauty and loved the Oakland Raiders, even though they lost often. Jessica was also passionate about God. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Sasseen; parents, Jeff Irvin and Terylee Thorpe; sister, Samantha Irvin; grandparents, Judith & Samuel Irvin and Kathy & Terry Thorpe; aunts and uncles, Brenda & Jake Crabb and William & Margarita Thorpe; cousins, Brandon and Brian Thorpe; great-grandmother, Kathleen Price; and her in-laws, Julie & Scott Sasseen. She is also survived by her beloved pet children, Raider, Scout and Gauge. Services will be held March 1, 2014 at Havasu Christian Church in Lake Havasu City, Arizona at 1pm. The church is located at 341 Mulberry Ave. A gathering will follow the services at the church. Interment will be done privately for family and close friends at Havasu Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any Suicide prevention program either locally or on a state level. Jessica will be loved and missed forever. She touched more lives than she ever could have imagined. May she rest in peace.
