Robert Mathew Crinion, 82, of Lake Havasu City, passed away January 13, 2011 at the home of his daughter, Charlene. Robert was born February 15, 1928 in Beaver Dam, Wis., the son of John Lawrence and Isabella (McDonald) Crinion. Robert graduated high school in 1946 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He worked for Kiekhaefer Motors before he married Orlien Mary (Hafenstein) McAbee on October 29, 1960 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. This union was blessed with three children along with Orlien's six from her first marriage. In 1965 the family relocated to Fond du Lac until 1990, when Robert retired from Mercury Marine after 35 years of service as the International Service Manager. Robert and Orlien decided to retire to Lake Havasu City the same year. She preceded him in death on September 13, 2002. In Robert's younger years, he enjoyed deer hunting, riding his motorcycle and working on cars. Later in life, his job required him to travel the world, and he camped all over the United States and Canada with his family. Robert is survived by three sons, Tim McAbee of Oakfield, Wis., Michael and his wife Jane McAbee of Manitowoc, Wis., and Brian and his wife Mi-Son McAbee of Portland, Penn.; five daughters, Patricia and her husband Brian Krug of The Villages, FL., Colleen Czoschke of Rosendale, Wis., Jennifer Crinion, Jacqueline Crinion and Charlene and her husband Gerald Filipiak of Lake Havasu City, AZ; 16 grandchildren, Julie, John, James,Brenda, Tom, Mathew, Melissa, Quentin, Janelle, Brad, Ryan, Laura, Katherine, Robert, Eric and Samantha and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death not only by his wife, but by his parents, one sister Mary Vujnovich, one brother Jack Crinion and one daughter Maureen Wienke.Visitation will be held on the 20th day of January 2011 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will follow the visitation, 7:00 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Cremation will follow. A memorial service is being planned for Beaver Dam, around what would have been his 83rd birthday followed by internment at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Wis.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
