Obituary of Eileen SCAVUZZO

Eileen ScavuzzoJuly 10, 1931 - January 27, 2011Eileen Scavuzzo passed away peacefully Thursday January 27, 2011 at the age of 79. She was born July 10, 1931 in Fall River, MA and was the only child of Henri and Agnes (O'Hara) Tessier. Eileen retired from the phone company in Massachusetts and obtained her real estate license before moving to Lake Havasu City, AZ in 1972. She continued working in the real estate field in Lake Havasu and then went into the hotel business with her former husband Jay Scavuzzo. She had many hobbies; she loved to golf, loved playing cards and loved to travel, but most of all she loved her two dogs, Misha and Tasha. Eileen held memberships with the London Bridge Golf Course, playing there twice a week, and the Elks Lodge.Eileen is survived by her niece Tracy (Joe) Culwell of Lake Havasu City; nephews Nick Scavuzzo Jr. and Tony Scavuzzo of Lake Havasu and Ron Scavuzzo of Roswell, NM; sister-in-law Gerri Scavuzzo; brother-in-law Nick (Vicki) Scavuzzo and her two great nephews Dylan and Joe "Bubba" Culwell who were the "grandkids" she never had. She also leaves behind many close friends.
