Obituary of William DOWNS

William Downs passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his home in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 84. He was born to Ferdinand and Gertrude (Hawkhead) Downs on April 13, 1926 in Pawtucket, RI.Bill as he was known to his family and friends was a proud survivor of World War II, having served his country in the United States Navy from 1943 - 1947. He is survived by his loving wife Dianne Downs; sons Bill Downs Jr., Jeff Almer, Randy Almer and Marc Zadra; daughters Donna Steward, Shannon Almer and Tracie Collins; 17 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Keely Zadra, grandson, Billy Steward and great granddaughter Aaralyn Grace.
