Robert Lawrence Williams passed away February 27, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 92. He was born to Harry and Bertie (Lingle) Williams on July 25, 1918 in Ullin, IL.Robert served under the direction of the United States Army during World War II as a paratrooper, receiving the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was the past exalted ruler of the Parker Elks, VFW, DAV, Eagles and American Legion.Robert leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years Faye Williams of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son Timothy A. Williams and his wife Valle of Flagstaff, AZ; sisters Virginia Freeman of Washington and Rosemary Rash of California; grandchildren, Bethany, Isaiah, Rebekah, Abigail, Timothy; step grandchildren Desire, David and Krystal; six step great grandchildren and her best friend of 37 years Boots Hines.He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Bertie; two brothers Roy and Woody and his sister Isabelle.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
