Obituary of Santina LUPO

Santina V. Lupo passed away peacefully March 6 2011 at the age of 87 in Chandler, AZ. She was born on May 25, 1923 in Detroit, MI to Anna and Salvatore Gioe.She and her husband moved to Lake Havasu in 1985 from Sterling Heights, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Jack F. Lupo Sr. Also preceding her were her sisters Evalyn Licavoli, June Barbaro and Marion Palozzolo.Santina is survived by her five children, Maria (Steve) Milobar, James A. (Paula) Lupo of Lake Havasu City, Jack F. (Andrea) Lupo Jr. and Thomas D. (Trudy) Lupo of Chandler, AZ and Salvatore J. (Gerri) Lupo Sr. of Plymouth, MI and sister-in-law Rose Larkins.Santina was a grandmother and great grandmother. Her grandchildren include Kimberly Carden, Salvatore Lupo Jr., Jack F. Lupo III, Toni V. Roginski, Stephen Milobar III, Elizabeth Guy, Matthew Lupo, Christina Lupo, Nicholas Lupo, Michael Lupo, Kevin Lupo, Timothy Lupo, Jessica Watts, Julia Anderson and Philip Wieserman. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.Santina enjoyed golfing and ceramics and the beautiful Havasu weather. She spent many years surrounded by her large, loving family.A visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011, 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, March 12, 2011, 12:00 PM. Father Chauncey Winkler will offer words of comfort and inspiration.
