Obituary of Rulon HEDELIUS

RULON J. HEDELIUSRulon J. Hedelius passed away on March 19, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona at the age of 80. He was born to Emil Robert Hedelius and Mary Vilate (Lutz) Hedelius on November 7, 1930 in Rexburg, Idaho.Rulon was a meat cutter by trade and was a member of the meat cutters union. He was a proud veteran of the Korean Conflict in the U S Navy. Rulon was a great man, a fantastic provider, a good father and grandfather and had quick witted sense of humor. He was well known and loved in the community and was an avid supporter of Havasu Community Health Center and the Eagles. He enjoyed the nurses at the dialysis center, caregivers from Hospice of Havasu and appreciated especially Kim and Bev the cleaning ladies. A special thank you to the Veterans Administration.Rulon is survived by his loving family wife and soul mate Colette Hedelius of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son Alan Ruffell of Utah; daughter Susan Sparks of Wyoming; grandson Preston J. Ruffell and adopted daughter Michelle Young.He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Carl and grandchild Sheridan Hedelius.Memorial services will be held at Bethany Bible Church at 1:00 PM on Saturday March 26, 2011 with Pastor Jerry Adams officiating.
