Obituary of Veronica HUSSON

VERONICA "RONNIE" HUSSON passed away on March 19, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 90. She was born to Harold and Katherine (Lane) Johnson on September 16, 1920 in Jersey City, NJ.Ronnie married her beloved husband Frank on November 26, 1938 and together made California their home in 1954, living in Mission Viejo from 1970 until his passing in 1992. In 1955 Ronnie worked for McDonnell Douglas, starting out as a riveter on jet engines and retired as an admin to the engineers after 20 years. Ronnie then made Lake Havasu her home in 1999.Ronnie and Frank danced with the "Jolly Mixers Square Dance Club" for 25 years. She loved to crochet and do crafts of all kinds. She was an avid sewer and really enjoyed her Thursdays with her quilting group from the church. Ronnie donated her time to the food bank right up until she couldn't lift the boxes anymore. But she especially loved spending time with family and friends.Ronnie leaves behind her beloved family; daughters Pat (Lee) Ruecker, Denise (Craig) Hardy; sons, Frank A. (Betty) Husson and Ronald Husson; sister Agnes Taylor of New Jersey; grandchildren Rene, Dawn, Valarie, Brenda,, Melissa, Jim, Matt, Heather, Shannon, Cathy, Todd, Randy and Danielle; great grandchildren Derek C., Drew, Samantha B., Jessica, Kendall, Jeremy H., Shaylan, Mark, Samantha H., Trevor, Larissa, Jeremy D., Sarah, Nathan, Ryley, Derek D. and John; great-great grandchildren Dorian, Audrey and Logan and many nieces and nephews.Ronnie was preceded in death by her son Wayne Husson in 1990 and brother Bart Lane in 1989.Memorial services will be Saturday, April 2, 2011, 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church.
