Obituary of Steven HERRELD

Steven Lee Herreld passed away April 5, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 63. He was born to Walter and Cora (Ballard) Herreld on August 18, 1947 in Peoria, IL.Steven served proudly under the direction of the United States Army during the Vietnam War, receiving a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He married his beloved bride Shirley Louise Eason on April 9, 1977. Steven worked for Henkels and McCoy as a lineman for 20 years in Long Beach, CA. Since moving to Lake Havasu in 1995 he had memberships with the VFW 9401 and the Eagles Aerie 4299.Steven leaves behind his beloved wife of almost 34 years, Shirley Herreld of Lake Havasu City; brothers Roy Bailey of Peoria, IL and Gary Herreld of Minnesota;; sister Ramona Blount of Lake Havasu City; Ramona's two sons Chris and David Paul and his wife Lacy; sister Althea Waldern; brother-in-law Frank Boley and his wife Delores; four dogs Sadie, Lil Bear, Bandit and Rusty and his closest friends Leonard and Cynthia Gechas and Ed and Eileen Devoe.Memorial services will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011, 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
