Stanley Eugene Drake passed away April 8, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 89. He was born to Eugene and Dora (Holiday) Drake on November 6, 1921 in Reedley, CA.Stanley moved to Cudahy, CA as a child. He attended Bell High School. Following high school he joined the Army Air Corps during World War II, proudly serving his country from August 8, 1942 to February 8, 1946. Stanley enjoyed water skiing and working with the Anglers United. After retirement he and his beloved Elizabeth moved to Lake Havasu 20 years ago from Los Angeles, CA.Stanley leaves behind his loving wife of almost 67 years, Elizabeth Drake; daughter Martha Drake Eisen; sister Jeanne Drake Hullana; grandchildren Eric Drake, Lucy Drake, Holly Drake Esparza and Jauvier Esparza; great grandchildren Grant Esparza and Jackson Esparza and foster great grandchildren Andrea and Vanessa.Memorial services will take place on Friday, April 15, 2011, 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 504 N. Acoma Blvd., Lake Havasu City.
