Arthur Gilbert Boucher passed away on May 10, 2011 at his residence in Lake Havasu City at the age of 73. Arthur was born on December 21, 1938 in Fall River, MA to Arthur and Edna (Sullivan) Boucher, one of five children.The Boucher family soon left Massachusetts to start a life in California. Art proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from January 13, 1956 to May 12, 1960. He then returned to California to start a thriving career as an engineer for McDonald-Douglas, which led to traveling around the world twice and experiencing more than the average person would. Art retired from McDonald-Douglas after 35 years of service and relocated to Lake Havasu City 13 years of ago. He was a lover of boating, fishing, camping and he frequented the Elks, Eagles and Moose Lodge where he met and made many new friends. Family and friends were most important to Art and he cherished the time spent with them.Art is survived by his sons Arthur Boucher and his wife Heather of Rowland Heights, CA and Mike Gage and his wife Lee of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughters Kathern Kenley and her husband Randy of Pinon Hills, CA, Kimber Gonsalves of Apple Valley, CA, Kimberly Damian and husband David of Hesperia, CA and Robin Mendoza and husband Billy of Lake Havasu City; sisters Chrissy Sheehan, Barbara Unkovich, Patricia Dilberto and Deborah Roman; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Military honors will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. by VFW Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81 with scripture services to follow.
