Obituary of Wanda Hoelscher
Please share a memory of Wanda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
WANDA LEE HOELSCHER passed away peacefully on May 27, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on May 7, 1941 in St. Louis, MO to Arthur and Ester (Johns) Worley.
The following are thoughts and memories expressed by Wanda's daughter, Teresa Law:
Wanda is so loved and missed by all who knew her but God knew it was time to bring her home. As her granddaughter Heaven said "God told her nana to come home my child". While we know she is no longer in pain, it is so very hard to not have her here. My mom had a wonderful life and as my dad put it "they had won the lottery of life". My mom traveled and experienced many wonderful things with my dad and he will forever miss his wife and life partner so deeply that words will never be adequate to express his loss. My mom was preceded in death by her parents, Esther and Arthur Worley, her brother, Gene Worley and nephew Jerry Lynn Kennedy. She has two sisters, Joan Kennedy and Sally Burnett, two brother-in-laws, Jay Kennedy and Bud Hoeslcher and her sister-in-law Sue Hoelscher. My Aunt Joan and Uncle Jay have helped with my mom immeasurably and are the true definition of family. My mom has three grandchildren, Natasha Hernandez, Stephanie Ahumada and Heaven Law. She also has three great grandchildren, Manual and Isabella Hernandez along with Dyson Cain Campbell. She has numerous nieces and nephews starting with Joan and Jay's children, Jerry Lynn Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Randy Kennedy, Leslie Kennedy and John Kennedy. Nephews Earl and Terry Hamlyn from her sister Sally and Bruce Allen, Rita Jean, Brian David, Kim and Tracey who are her brother Gene's children. Mom, we love you and will miss you forever and your love and life will never be forgotten.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 4, 2011 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and the celebration of Wanda's life will begin at 10:00 AM with Rev. Carol Sheffield offering words of comfort and inspiration. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
