Harold (Hal) Spradlin April 6, 1933 - June 14, 2011 Harold Spradlin passed away June 14, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 78, after a brief bout of cancer. He was born to Sherman and Fannie (Hackworth) Spradlin on April 6, 1933 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Hal moved with his family in the early 1940's to California, settling in the Long Beach area. He graduated from David Starr Jordan High School in 1951. He was an Engineer in the Aircraft Industry retiring from Northrop Grumman in 1994. He resided in Long Beach, CA and maintained a second home in Parker Arizona, until 2002 when he moved to Lake Havasu with his companion Sally Brandt, who had been a high school sweetheart and they reconnected in 2001. He is survived by his companion Sally and two sisters Patti Warren (Parker AZ) and Sherri Harris (Riverside, CA.) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Phyllis Delich. No services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations go to Hospice of Havasu, PO. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405. Arrangements were made through the Neptune Society and Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
