Gerald Franklin Ridgley, 95, passed peacefully in Kingman, Arizona on July 3, 2011. He was born on August 1, 1915 in Denver, Colorado to Paul and Cara (Shaw) Ridgley. Gerald was self employed in floor coverings, moving from Pomona, CA. to Lake Havasu City 50 years ago. He was a lifetime member of the B.P.O.E. for 74 years and was water skiing until he was 90 years old. He loved traveling in the motor home and driving the dune buggy. He loved the heat - the hotter the better. Gerald is survived by his loving family daughters Vicki Ridgley-Chapel of Meadview, AZ., Cara Ridgley Guarino of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Vivian Myers of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; 7 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday July 8, 2011 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel from 3 - 5 pm. Graveside service will be held on Saturday July 9, 2011 at 9 am at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Reception will follow at 3205 N. Kiowa Blvd. Lake Havasu City, AZ . Donation can be given in Gerald's name to Elks children charties.
