There are so many fond memories of Charlie. Charlie came into my life when I was 14 and he started dating my mom. He was always so kind to me. He made sure my cars ran well, he taught me to water ski, and he took us on some fantastic camping trips. Todd and I have had many great trips meeting up with Charlie and my mom over the years. I thank Charlie for giving my mom so many happy and fun years. We will all miss his twinkly eyes and the grin on his face.

Memories of Charlie - Boating on Flathead Lake, barbecuing pork ribs, cruising on a patio boat on Whiskeytown Lake and Charlie brought a kite, red wine, his being thrilled when a grandnephew was born on his birthday four years ago, hearing him say "Hi Jan" in the background when I was talking with Margie on the phone, the walking stick he made for me from the rib of a saguaro cactus... he was a great guy and I'm glad he was my brother-in-law. He will be missed. Hugs to Margie.

Charlie was a great friend, flying buddy and fishing companion. Lyle and I both enjoyed our friendship with Charlie and Margie. We are grateful for the times we were able to spend together camping, fishing and our outings to the different restaurants when camping was no longer an activity we could share. Our dinners at each others homes were always a highlight for us and we never lacked for things to talk about and experiences to share. He will be greatly missed. Lyle and Selena Du Lac

How lucky I was to have a brother-in-law as nice as Charlie. I remember fondly our visits to Montana where we hiked in Glacier, enjoyed the beautiful home that Charlie & Margie created, drank Gil's home made margaritas and enjoyed our time together. My only regret is not spending more time with him and with Margie. I am SO pleased that I had the opportunity to see Charlie in Colorado just a few short weeks ago. It was a real treat and he looked so good. My deepest thoughts are with Margie as she begins her new life with the special memories of her dear husband. Much love, Lynda
