Donald Carl Bengston, 70, passed away on December 17, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Henry Emil and Myrtle Alice Bengston on January 4, 1945 in Seattle, Washington. He met and wed the love of his life in Everett, Washington and they were married for 37 happy years.
Donald liked to be outside. He enjoyed fishing for salmon and loved working on his cabin in the mountains in Washington. He was always involved in or coming up with some kind of project. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and uncle as well as an excellent dad to his furry son, Rusty. Don was proud to have served his country in the National Guard during the Vietnam War.
Don is survived by his wife, Gail A. Bengston of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sons, Jonathon Bengston (Tami) of Vancouver, WA and Kevin Bengston (Kelly) of Mount Lake Terrace, WA; daughter, Kristina Gessele (Shannon) of Everett, WA; sister, Sandra Bloor of Monroe, WA; grandchildren, Shaina Bengston, Kole Gessele and Kylee Bengston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Emil and Myrtle Alice Bengston; brothers, Ed, Cliff and Dave.
