Obituary of Sophie Kozuch

SOPHIE VICTORIA KOZUCH Sophia Victoria Kozuch passed away on October 26,2011 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona at the age of 89. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to Paul and Kunagunda (Mrocka) Smoliniski on March 10,1922. Sophie enjoyed cooking and baking, making on heck of a pound cake. Family meant the world to her and she had tons of photos. She never missed a year sending out holiday cards. Sophie is survived by her loving family: son John (Jaki) Kozuch of Bourbonnais, Illionis; daughter Patricia Ann Conley of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; grandchildren Tine, Jim Jr., Christina, Nicole, Tiffany and Brandi; great grandchildren Ashley G.,Nicholas, Johnathon, McKenzie, Ashley K., Delaney, Liam, Ava and Jason. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter; parents Paul and Kunagunda Smolinski; sister Helen and Stella and grandson John Joesph Kozuch Jr. Visitation will be held Friday October 28, 2011 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel from 6 to 8 pm, with a rosary being said at 7 pm.. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday October 29, 2011 at 12 noon at Our lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church with Father Chauncey officiating. Reception will follow at the parish hall.
