Betty Jean Heckart passed away December 4, 2011 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 85. She was born in Holdenville, OK on April 22, 1926 to Raymond and Marguerite (Murray) Davis. Betty married Clyde S. Heckart on December 17, 1945 in Englewood, CO. They lived most of their married life in Colorado. Betty moved to Lake Havasu City in August of 2011 and was residing at Prestige Assisted Living at the time of her death. She loved to travel and garden and had a greenhouse attached to her home in CO. She was instrumental in organizing and leading the Navy Mothers Club of Aurora, CO. Besides raising three sons, she was a medical assistant in a Doctor's office. She is survived by Sons, Richard (Jean) of Lake Havasu City, John of Safford, AZ and Tom (LaVonne) of Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Her husband, brother, Jim and daughter-in-law Carol preceded her in death. Services and interment will be at a later date in Littleton, CO. Donations may be made to Prestige Assisted Living at 90 Smoketree Ave., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 in Betty's name.
