Charlisse Mae Scott
April 25, 1915 - December 8, 2011
Charlisse passed away on December 8, at Sun Haven Assisted Living, in Lake Havasu City, AZ., at the age of 96. She was born to Murray and Della (Krinn) Phillips on April 25, 1915 in Logan, Ohio.
Charlisse (Shirley) worked at Ohio Bell and Kent State University in Kent, Ohio for 15 years. She and her husband, Charles (Scotty), moved to Lake Havasu City in 1968. She worked at Architects & Engineers, McCulloch Corp., and the London Bridge Coat of Arms.
Charlisse was a member of Eastern Star, the Presbyterian Church, the Gem and Mineral Society of Lake Havasu City (41 years), and worked the election precinct at Mt. Olive Church (34 years).
She leaves behind daughters; Patricia (William) Proverbs of Henderson, NV., Phyllis (Paul) Schneider of Simi Valley, CA., Marjorie Scott-Theophilus of Lake Havasu City, AZ and daughter-in-law, Violet Roldan of Henderson, NV.; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Madge Klinger of Lake Havasu City, AZ. And brother, Wendall (Selma) Phillips of Logan, Ohio.
Charlisse was preceded in death by her Husband, Charles Roy Scott; brother, Murray (Bus) Phillips; son, Roy J Scott and grandson, Owen Scott Theophilus.
A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.
