Obituary of Fred BOLLING

Please share a memory of Fred to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
March 2, 1954 to December 9, 2011 On December 9, 2011 Fred Bolling lost his four month battle against cancer. Fred Lee Bolling was born March 2, 1954 to Harvey and Loraine Bolling in Yakima, Washington. His family moved to Port Townsend, Washington where he attended school and graduated from Port Townsend High School in 1972. He then went on to join the United States Air Force where he spent the next four years of his life on three different bases in Texas. He returned to Port Townsend where he worked the next years at a few different jobs. In 1979 he met his future wife Debbie. They dated for two years and were married in April of 1982. Both were employed by Murray Auto Parts until it was sold in 1998. They were blessed with two sons, Mitch and Jay and lived in the Bolling family home which they purchased from Fred's Mom, Loraine when his Dad, Harvey passed away in June of 1984. Fred and Debbie spent the next fifteen years raising their sons, restoring 409 Chevrolet Impala cars, going to car shows and spending time with all their many friends in Port Townsend. In July, 1999 Fred took his family on an adventure and moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona where they purchased a new home, enrolled their boys in school and then built Fred's dream garage. Fred worked for a couple different businesses until 2006 when he opened his own business "Fast Freds" where he designed and built supercharges for EZ Go golf carts and custom engines for cars and boats. Fred enjoyed boating, riding in the desert, going to the Glamis sand dunes, drag racing, but most of all he just enjoyed life and being with friends and family. Fred is survived by his wife Debbie; two sons Mitch and Jay; daughter Jenny Rayson; his mother Loraine Bolling; sister Janine Sanford; brothers Tom, Doug and Ron. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Fred would want all of his family and friends to live their lives to the fullest and remember life is just one big beautiful adventure. In lieu of a service being held, please make a donation to your favorite charity in his name. Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com. Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
